Christmas days in church

(chinadaily.com.cn) | Dec 24, 2014

In Christian areas and the secular world, Dec 25 marks the birth of Jesus and is considered one of the most culturally significant celebrations, but is also widely observed by many others, as a full or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day.

A traditional Mass is held in churches around the world to celebrate the birth of Christ, which is believed to have occurred at night. Shanghai, an international metropolis, has an abundance of historic churches that share the culture and festival on the day.
