China Maritime Museum
China Maritime Museum is the only national maritime museum approved by the State Council and jointly built by the Ministry of Transportation and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government.

The museum, shaped like a boat, is located by the Dishui Lake in Lingang new town, Pudong, covering a land area of 24,830 square meters. The largest of its kind in the country, the museum houses cultural relics collection and exhibitions and carries out academic research and social education.
