No.2 High School of East China Normal University, established in 1958, is the only model experimental 'key high school' in Shanghai under the direct auspices of the Chinese Ministry of Education and is member of UNESCO ADEID as well. Driven by the development target of fostering innovative talents and becoming one of the world’s top senior high schools, No.2 High School attached of ECNU is continuously speeding up the internationalization progress. As the first senior high school adopting international education system, No.2 High School of ECNU set up its international division in 1999 with the approval by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and started junior and senior high school academic education for overseas students, covering countries such as United States, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Indonesia, Sweden, Italy, Philippines, Korea, as well as Tai wan, Hong Kong and Macao.
