University monitors student health conditions
A working group consisting of teachers and students at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics has been busy monitoring students' health conditions since Jan 21.
Amid the outbreak, both Chinese and international students have been asked to inform their teachers if they have been to any virus-hit areas.
The working group also cooperated with the International Students Society to keep international students up to date and monitor whether any of them will return to Shanghai before the start of the semester.
The university's public WeChat account has been sharing bilingual tips on how to stay safe and notices concerning epidemic prevention and control measures.
Online consultation services are also available for students via e-mail and WeChat to answer queries related to registration and visa extensions.
