The 20th Shanghai EduExpo will open on Sept 15 and be held both online and offline.
The offline exhibition will take place at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from Sept 15 to 17, while the online exhibition will run until the end of October.
The expo will showcase the development achievements of Shanghai's education system. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the expo, a special photo display titled "Memory of the Shanghai EduExpo" will exhibit pictures depicting highlights from Shanghai's educational reform and development over the past 20 years.
The expo will feature about 120 education exhibitors.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the integrated development strategy of the Yangtze River Delta, a special exhibition will feature the unique educational approaches taken by 10 schools in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces in the Yangtze River Delta region.
The expo will also include a forum themed "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Education" as well as other themed activities and lectures.
The virtual exhibition can be accessed through the "Shanghai EduExpo" mini program. It will have online exhibition features, a digital map, guides, news, and live broadcasts.
The opening ceremony of the expo will see the launch of the citizen version of the Shanghai Education Influence Electronic Map, which provides services such as multi-dimensional search, positioning and navigation, and route guidance.
Starting from Sept 18, the expo will also host nearly 20 live broadcasts regarding topics like talent cultivation and ways to promote the development of the education sector.
